Don't allow WebP animations in thumbnails

Some people are uploading animated WebPs as thumbnails and they animate spastically in the feed nonstop. They can't be turned off, the "autoplay GIFs" setting doesn't do anything. I've started blocking people who do this because it's so obnoxious.

There's an ability to turn off the animations in your settings if you don't want to see them

Maybe have a sort of video player feature instead of autoplay? So that you have to click it in order to play it?

Please allow this to be a checkbox config setting. I think it is desirable for animations. That said, I dislike the carousel usage of independent images.

deus_ai_machina: There's already a checkbox in settings, it just only works for GIFs. (But that should only matter for images viewed in model pages, search thumbnails should never animate. Think about how awful it would be if every search thumbnail was animating)
