We're working on a feature called "Feeds" that we believe should accomplish what's requested here. We'll keep you posted on our progress.

Additional options:
- Collection for models and also images
- Each model/image can be saved to multiple collection
- An option to share public collection or make it private
- Some basic sort, filter or search in collection like Youtube
- Customizable collection covers
Advanced options (No need for now):
- Recommendations: Suggest new posts (at the end of each collection like instagram did) to add to a user's collection based on their previous saved posts or interests
- Collaborative Collections: Enable users to create and share their collections with others, making it possible to work on group projects or share inspiration with others

Good idea! On a related note: I would like to have this feature for uploaded images too.
